A medical device company developing and manufacturing mechanical devices is seeking a talented V&V Engineer to join our R&D and Engineering team. As a V&V Engineer you will work collaboratively with cross-functional team to ensure our medical devices meet all functional, performance, and safety requirements through testing and process validation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and author R&D and Verification and Validation testing.
• Hands on execution of mechanical testing.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation including design specifications, test protocols, and reports.
• Responsible for defining, improving and maintaining test equipment.
• Support QA activities related to product development, manufacturing, and ongoing operational processes.
• Support the transition of products from development to manufacturing including process validation activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with cross functional team members including R&D, Engineering, QA, RA and Product departments.

Requirements (Relevant Education/ Languages, Skills)

• B.Sc. in Biomedical engineering or a related field with a mechanical orientation.
• 2+ years of experience in medical device R&D and/or V&V testing – preferably with mechanical devices.
• Hands on approach
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and data interpretation – an advantage
• Fluent in English
